Below average. Music is terrible and ruins the vibes. We ordered coffee and food to eat there and they gave us everything to go; staff was all over the place. Coffee was terrible, I had to throw it away. Quiche was flavorless. We decided to leave because the music was annoying (alternative kind of music and felt like a rave).
I ordered the Superior Buzz. It mentioned having coffee grounds, but there's so much in it that it was totally undrinkable. If the line wasn't out the door I'd ask for a refund. I've had really good coffee here before but I don't think I'll be going back.
Excellent lattes especially the signatures like the squak and cougar mtn lattes. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful shop that constantly has a line of people waiting to get the great coffee. The food was okay, nothing special. The baked goods looked amazing but the almond croissant was kind of stale. Would come back just for the excellent coffee.
First time having coffee in Washington which they’re well known for and I’m glad I came across this coffee shop for it! Like I had to wait in a line for about 15 minutes to get served and when I looked behind me there was a line of people behind and out the shop ! Those were clear indication’s that this shop knows what they’re doing!! Boy I was not disappointed but completely satisfied with my cougar mountain frozen blend so yummy! They have a patio in the back which is super chilled and the music they had in the background was awesome such as “thee sacred souls - will I see you again” literally what am thinking about as if I’ll ever see them again lol make sure you get their stickers it was designed by them!
Got my coffee and it really wasn’t that good unfortunately I thought it was going to be a lot better. The spot was nice but my coffee had no flavor and it tasted just like my daughters and we had totally two different things which was funny. I would like to go back and try it again and see maybe it was just a little bit too busy at the moment we showed up or maybe my expectations were just a little bit too high.
I recently visited Issaquah Coffee and found it to be a hustle and bustle coffee shop. Despite all the tables being full, it was a testament to how popular this place is. The coffee wasn't the worst I've had, but it wasn't the best either. However, there was something about the charming ambiance and cute niche location that made the experience worthwhile. The aesthetics of the place add to its charm, making it a delightful spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. If you happen to be in the area, I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit.
Very cute little place with lovely staff and nice coffee. Be aware that the "outdoor" patio is a fully enclosed space, so isn't suitable for those trying to socially distance for pandemic reasons. There is, however, actual outdoor seating right by the coffee shop, but without the heating and roof.
Jan 2024 EDIT: This remains a wonderful little coffee shop with friendly great staff. (Just two caveats below*)
There is a variety of seating, numerous 2-4seat tables, a coach, and a couple of chairs inside, plus individual outdoor seating in the patio.
*Word has gotten around and it is far busier than it used to be- which is wonderful for them and they deserve it, but it does make it difficult to find a table at times.
*They also play music pretty loudly, nothing extreme and decent, easy listening stuff. So the music combined with all the competing conversations makes it a pretty noisy place now.
Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for something quiet, uncrowded, or are a bit sensitive to noise.
I still highly recommend it otherwise!
I couldn't agree more! Issaquah Coffee is an absolutely lovely place. It deserves a solid 5-star rating. The chic ambiance, excellent coffee, and overall atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for coffee enthusiasts.
